"Fraud" in the name of Periyar or his “brand name” is misused without Royalty! 

From a hand bill distributed, it is known that. “Periyar Atheistic Barracks” (Periyar Nathiga Pasarai) is functioning at Trichy. It is declared that DK has no affiliation or has given any approval for the functions / activities carried under the banner. It is also informed that thev members of DK should not have any relation or participation with their activities. If any member acts against such norm, he would be removed from the basic membership of DK” 

Thus, Kali Pungundran sends a warning circular on 04-08-2008. 

It is not at all a news that the so-called Periyar groups have been going on multiplying because of the benefits, particularly, political and financial aspects are involved. Earlier, many EVR associates and friends had tried to compete. But K. Veeramani has tactfully and successfully either eliminated or removed from the DK and thus reigning supreme for the multi-crore properties of Periyar Trust. 

Nowadays, EVR / Periyar, Ambedkar, MGR and others have become some sort of trade name / brand name so that the social, political and even the religious groups get advantage. In fact, they use such names and brands to get protection from police etc. 

Thus, it is evident that the public should be careful about the usage of such names / brads . photos, symbols of these leaders for any purpose.

கழகத் தோழர்களுக்கு ஒரு முக்கிய அறிவிப்பு!

“பெரியார் நாத்திகப் பாசறை" என்னும் பெயரால் திருச்சியில் ஒரு அமைப்பு இருப்பதாகத் துண்டு அறிக்கை ஒன்றில் வெளியிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. அந்த அமைப்புக்கும் அந்த அமைப்பின் சார்பில் நடத்தப்படும் எவ்வித நிகழ்ச்சிகளுக்கும் திராவிடர் கழகத்திற்கும் எவ்விதத் தொடர்பும், அங்கீகாரமும் கிடையாது. அந்த அமைப்போடு திராவிடர் கழகத் தோழர்கள் யாரும் தொடர்பு, உறவு வைத்துக் கொள்ளக் கூடாது என்றும், அந்த அமைப்பு நடத்தும் நிகழ்ச்சிகளில் பங்கேற்கக் கூடாது என்றும் அறிவிக்கப்படுகிறது.
மீறி, அந்த அமைப்போடு தொடர்பு வைத்துக் கொள்ளும், அதன் சார்பில் நடத்தப்படும் நிகழ்ச்சியில் பங்கேற்கும் திராவிடர் கழகத் தோழர்கள்மீது, ஒழுங்கு நடவடிக்கை எடுத்து, அடிப்படை உறுப்பினர் என்ற தகுதியிலிருந்தும் நீக்கப்படுவார்கள் என்று இதன் மூலம் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்ளப்படுகிறது.
