Sri.Ganapati Sthapati has been the chief architect and builder of the 133 ft. high colossal statue of Saint Thiruvalluvar, on a rock in mid-sea, in the southern tip of the Indain sub-continent. The project sponsored by the Govt. of Tamil Nadu was done at an estimated cost of Rs. 10 crores (There was a CAG report questioning the amounts claimed based on unreliable vouchers). This structural master piece in stone consist of 3,681 pieces, each weighing 3-8 tonnes and has been designed and erected according to the principles of traditional stone sculpting and jointing technology i.e, Vastu sastra!

Would Sthapati answer?

Coming to the “உளியின் ஓசை", how the Sculptor would have done it?

Karu portrays a Buddhist to carve Hindu as if he has done a revolution!

But why so many Buddhist viharas, monastaries and even Universities like Dakhsasila, Nalanda etc., were demolished, ransacked, all books burned, the professors and students massacred etc?

Were they built according Vastu sastra or Allah sastra to meet such fate?

Ganapati sthapati, Karunanidhi and Vastu

Ganapathi Stapati has been a favourite “Vastu expert” to Karunanidhi and he entrusted two works to him:

1. The Valluvar kottam at Chennai.

2. Tiruvalluvar statue at Kanyakumari.

He wears “punul” / Muppurinul that is worn by Parppan / Brahmin and Karu used to lament that he did not wear. Very often he claims that they are also “Brahmins”!

Karu has questioned “Vastu” many times ridiculing. Remember the tussle behind “Kannagi statue” and installation of one at their DMK office at Tenampet (next to Defence Accounts office).

Now, DK comments like this:

வாஸ்து சிற்பி என்று புகழப்படுகிறவர் பி.என்.ரெட்டி. அமெரிக்க பல்கலைக் கழகத்தில் கட்டுமானம் பற்றிய மேற்படிப்பு படித்துவிட்டு, 1993 முதல் ஆந்திராவில் கட்டடக்கலைஞராக இருக்கிறார். திருப்பதி கோயில்களுக்கு கவுரவக் கட்டடக்கலை ஆலோசகராவும் இருக்கிறார். வாஸ்து சாஸ்திரத்தை விஞ்ஞானம் என்று நிரூபிப்பதில் கடும் முயற்சி எடுத்துக்கொண்டு, நூல்களையும் எழுதி வருகிறார். பி.என்.ரெட்டியிடம் பகுத்தறிவாளர் பிரேமானந்தா, மூன்று கேள்விகளை எழுப்பியுள்ளார்.
அந்தக் கேள்விகளுக்கு, ரெட்டியிடமிருந்து இதுவரை எந்தப் பதிலும் வரவில்லை.
திருப்பதி கோயிலுக்கு - மற்ற எல்லாக் கோயில்களையும் விட வருமானம் குவிந்து வருவதற்குக் காரணம், அது முழுமையான வாஸ்து சாஸ்திரப்படி கட்டப்பட்டது தான் என்பது ரெட்டியின் வாதம்.

குஜராத்தில் உள்ள சோமநாதர் கோயிலும் முழுமையான வாஸ்து அடிப்படையில் கட்டப்பட்டது தான். அந்தக் காலத்தில் - உலகத்திலேயே பெரும் பணக்காரக் கோயிலாக அது இருந்தது. ஆனால், அந்தக் கோயிலில்தான் கஜினி முகம்மது படை எடுத்து வந்து, பொருள்களை யெல்லாம் எடுத்துச் சென்றார். வாஸ்து ஏன் அந்தக் கோயிலைக் காப்பாற்றவில்லை?
கட்டடக் கலையில் தேர்ச்சி பெற்ற கடவுள்கள் என்று மாயா, விஸ்வகர்மா போன்ற கடவுள்களைக் கூறுகிறார்கள். வாஸ்து சாஸ்திரத்துக்கே இந்தக் கடவுள்கள் தான் தோற்றுவாய் என்றும், வாஸ்து பண்டிதர்கள் கூறுகிறார்கள். இந்தக் கடவுள்தான் வாஸ்து சாஸ்திரப்படி அயோத்தி அரண்மனையையும், மகாபாரதத்தில் வரும் இந்திரப் பிரஸ்தாவில் மாயா சபாவையும், வாஸ்து சாஸ்திரப்படி கட்டப்பட்ட மாளிகைகளில், இராமனும், பாண்டவர்களும் வாழ முடியவில்லையே. காடுகளில் கடும் அவதிக்குள்ளானதாகவே, இராமாயணமும், மகாபாரதமும் கூறுகின்றன. இது தான் வாஸ்துவின் பலனா?

பி.என்.ரெட்டி, நாடாளுமன்ற உறுப்பினராகவும் இருந்தார். வாஸ்து சாஸ்திரப்படி அவரே கட்டிய பல அடுக்கு மாடிக்கட்டடம் 1981ஆம் ஆண்டு அக்டோபரில் இடிந்து விழுந்ததே; இதுதான் வாஸ்துவின் பலனா? என்று கேட்டுள்ளார் பிரேமானந்தா.

The Black Parivar used to ask when protection is goven to temples etc.,

Now why these require police protection, cage etc?

If they are so popular leaders, why they require such safety?

If they could not receive respect and honur from the beloved people, then, something is wrong with them.

திருப்பூர்: திருப்பூரில் நிறுவப்பட்டுள்ள ஈ.வெ.ராமசாமி, அண்ணாதுரை வெண்கலச் சிலைகளுக்கு, துப்பாக்கி ஏந்திய போலீஸ் பாதுகாப்பு தொடர்கிறது. அச்சிலைகளுக்கு எவ்வித சேதமும் ஏற்படாமல் இருக்க, பாதுகாப்பு கண்ணாடிக் கூண்டு அமைக்க தி.மு.க.,வினர் ஆலோசித்து வருகின்றனர்.

ஈ.வெ.ராமசாமியும், முன்னாள் முதல்வர் அண்ணாதுரையும் முதன்முதலாக 1934ம் ஆண்டு திருப்பூரில் சந்தித்துக் கொண்டனர். இச்சந்திப்பு, திராவிட இயக்கத்துக்கு திருப்புமுனையை ஏற்படுத்தியது. இதை நினைவுகூறும் வகையில், மாநகர தி.மு.க., சார்பில், ரயில்வே ஸ்டேஷன் முன், ஈ.வெ.ராமசாமி, அண்ணாதுரை வெண்கல சிலைகள் ஒரே பீடத்தில் நிறுவப்பட்டுள்ளன. சிலைகளை, உள்ளாட்சித் துறை அமைச்சர் ஸ்டாலின் கடந்த 18ம் தேதி திறந்து வைத்தார்.

தியாகி குமரன் சிலை அருகே ஈ.வெ.ராமசாமி, அண்ணாதுரை வெண்கலச் சிலைகள் நிறுவியதற்கு, இந்து மக்கள் கட்சி (அர்ஜுன் சம்பத் பிரிவு) எதிர்ப்பு தெரிவித்து வருகிறது. சிலைகளை அகற்றப் போவதாகவும் அக்கட்சியினர் தெரிவித்ததால், பலத்த போலீஸ் பாதுகாப்பு போடப்பட்டுள்ளது. சிலைகள் நிறுவப்பட்ட நாளிலிருந்தே தொடர்ந்து பாதுகாப்பு அளிக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது; 24 மணி நேரமும், இரண்டு ஷிப்ட்களில் பாதுகாப்பு அளித்து வருகின்றனர்.

இன்ஸ்பெக்டர், சப்-இன்ஸ்பெக்டர், ஏட்டு, நான்கு போலீசார் என, ஒரு ஷிப்டுக்கு ஏழு போலீசார் நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளனர்; இதில், துப்பாக்கி ஏந்திய போலீஸ்காரர் ஒருவரும் உள்ளார்; 24 மணி நேரமும் சிலைகளுக்கு துப்பாக்கியுடன் கூடிய போலீஸ் பாதுகாப்பு அளிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. சிலைகளுக்கு அச்சுறுத்தல் இருப்பதால், பாதுகாப்புக் கூண்டு அமைக்கப்படுமா என மேயர் செல்வராஜிடம் கேட்ட போது, “”சிலைகளுக்கு போலீஸ் பாதுகாப்பு அளிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. சிலைகளைப் பாதுகாக்க கண்ணாடிக் கூண்டு அமைக்க ஆலோசித்து வருகிறோம். வெளியில் இருந்து பார்த்தால் சிலைகள் நன்றாக தெரியும் வகையிலும், அதே சமயத்தில், சிலைகளுக்கு சேதம் ஏற்படாமல் இருக்கும் வகையிலும் கூண்டு அமைக்க திட்டமிட்டு வருகிறோம்,’’ என்றார்.
